Environmental policy
The likely fragility of the world’s environment has been in the headlines on a daily basis in recent years. Commentators suggest that pressures on the environment affect the planet’s health and threaten people’s well-being across multiple issues from accelerating climate change to diminishing resources and increasing threats to the habitats of many species.
Many of Document Logistix’ customers adopt digital business processes as part of their Green strategy and to their environment policy. Digital operations can greatly reduce or even eliminate the use of paper, and digital processes reduce the need for travel, which translates to reduced pollution and waste.

While at Document Logistix we have always tried to be environmentally friendly, we have gone a step further and implemented an environmental management system supported by a fresh environmental policy.
Our management team and staff are committed to review processes and practices and make improvements wherever we find opportunities.
We expect that improvements in environmental awareness and better practices will create a greener workplace and contribute to the protection of our environment for generations to come.

Environmental policy summary
Document Logistix recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in fulfilment of its compliance obligations.
Our objective is to carry out all necessary activities to protect the environment and to continually improve the Environmental Management System by implementing the following:
- Assess and regularly re-assess the environmental effects of our activities.
- Train employees in environmental issues.
- Minimise the production of waste.
- Minimise material waste.
- Minimise energy waste.
- Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials.
- Prevent pollution in all its forms.
- Control noise emissions from operations.
- Minimise risks to the public and employees from activities undertaken by Document Logistix.
Senior management at Document Logistix will ensure that environmental objectives are established and are aligned with the strategic direction of the company. Management will support persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System and promote continual improvement.
Our Environmental Policy will be communicated to all employees, external providers and other interested parties and will be reviewed regularly to ensure its continuing suitability.
